Local lacrosse context
North Mecklenburg has built a real lacrosse footprint over the last decade, with programs at William A. Hough and surrounding high schools feeding club and college rosters. The Lake Norman corridor is far enough north that driving into south Charlotte for private training quickly eats an hour each way, especially in winter traffic.
The Lax Teacher trains north-side athletes on north-side fields so the time you spend on the session is time spent on the session, not on I-77.
