Terms of Service

1. Scope of service

The Lax Teacher provides private and small group lacrosse training services in the Charlotte, NC metro area. We coach lacrosse skills, IQ, and position work. We do not provide medical, physical therapy, or athletic-injury advice. Athletes should consult their own physicians regarding fitness to participate.

2. Booking and payment

Sessions can be booked individually or in bundles (10-pack or 15-pack). Pricing is published on /pricing. Single sessions are paid at the session via Venmo, Zelle, or cash. Bundles are paid upfront when booked. Bundles are non-transferable between unrelated athletes without prior agreement.

3. Cancellations and rescheduling

Cancellations with at least 24 hours notice are rescheduled at no cost. Same-day cancellations are accommodated when the schedule allows. Weather and emergencies are always free of charge. No-call, no-show sessions may be billed as a full session.

4. Assumption of risk

Lacrosse is a contact sport, and injury is possible. By booking a session, you acknowledge the inherent risks of athletic training and accept responsibility for the athlete's well-being. A separate liability waiver may be provided on first booking and should be completed before the first session.

5. Photos and video

We occasionally record clips of drills and sessions for use in training materials and on our public Instagram (@laxteacher). If you prefer the athlete not appear in any public-facing media, please let us know at booking and we will accommodate.

6. Conduct

We expect respectful conduct from athletes and parents at every session. The coach reserves the right to end a session without refund in the event of unsafe or disrespectful behavior.

7. Governing law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.

8. Updates

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will appear on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
