Specialty positions
Position-specific lacrosse training.
Specialty positions reward specialty coaching. Faceoff athletes, goalies, and defenders need rep counts and technical detail that general practice can't provide.
Why Dan trains positions
Coaching at Wagner College (Division 1), Babson, and Montclair State, Dan ran both the face-off and goalie units at Babson and Montclair State. That means hundreds of college-level reps per week designing drills, breaking down technique, and building position IQ.

Faceoff training
The stance, the clamp, the rake, the counter. Faceoff work covers the technical sequence from the whistle through possession, plus the wing dynamics that decide most ground-ball battles. Drills run for athletes from middle school first-timers through varsity FOGOs.
Goalie training
Stance, footwork, hand position, save sequencing, clearing IQ. Goalie work includes wall ball patterns, reaction drills, and scenario-based practice that builds the right defensive communication and shot-prep habits.

Defensive training
Approach footwork, body positioning, stick checks, slide reads, and team-defense IQ. As a 3x All-American defender and college defensive coordinator, this is the position Dan knows from inside out.
Book position training
